Special Requirements and Information:
Previously
named Acrhelia horrescens, the Galaxea
horrescens corallites seems to spiral around
it's branches as opposed to other corals where
they appear random. In the real world, this
Galaxea lives away from the shoreline.
Feeding should be light during the day with the
full feeding at night. Feed plenty of
phytoplankton and add calcium, magnesium and
strontium as supplements. Once they're accustomed
to your tank, they can be introduced to frozen
foods such as chopped blood worms.
They have extremely powerful nematocysts and can
attack neighbors, so give them plenty of room
