The History of Pacific Aqua Farms
Pacific Aqua Farms was created in 2000 as a U.S. based handling facility for livestock
arriving from the South Pacific. In the intervening years we have led the expansion of
quality livestock available to the retail trade throughout the world.

Since there are difficulties shipping to Europe and Asia direct from Fiji, Tonga, and Solomon Islands (at that time our primary supplying stations) due to limited booking schedules and [sometimes] over 50 hours of flight time, it became necessary to make this move. Having Los Angeles as our main hub, we are capable of sending livestock around the United States and the world by having access to regular direct flight schedules. This allows our shipments to arrive at their final destination in a timely manner and therefore in great health.

We supply the market with the best corals in the industry on a short convenient flight from LAX. Not only are we considered by many to be the best supplier in the industry, our Acropora lines are the finest available. All of the livestock imported into our Los Angeles facility is held for a minimal time period to insure highest quality possible. When the corals, fish and inverts reach our facility from our stations around the world, they are conditioned and screened for quality and color. We are then able to eliminate any loss and select only the most colorful, healthy and interesting pieces to fill your orders.

Our Los Angeles facility (located next to LAX) has been designed with the latest and most modern equipment currently available. We have created the best environment possible for our livestock including powerful lighting, chillers, skimming, ozone generation and specially designed tanks.
