Special Requirements and Information:
Considered a Spiny Coral, because of it's
elongated and thin, sometimes wispy, branching
your loripes can grow to be a huge part of your
aquarium layout. They will
grow at a reasonable pace given the proper
conditions.
Acropora should be placed
high in the tank. Close to the light source,
but not so close to be affected by the heat.
Feeding should be light during the day with the
full feeding at night. Feed plenty of
phytoplankton and add calcium, magnesium and
strontium as supplements. Once they're accustomed
to your tank, they can be introduced to frozen
foods such as chopped blood worms.
Very sensitive to water conditions.
