Special Requirements and Information:
An
exceptional encrusting coral. Begin away from
your light source until they've acclimated and
then move them to where they can gather the most
light available. Monitor water temperature, can
be susceptible to overheating.
While the addition of coral calcium will
stimulate polyp extension, Porities require
biomass feedings and can't rely solely on
supplements for proper health. Feed anytime
during the day. They are preferential to
zooplankton, marine algae and other minute bio
foods.
If properly cared for, the arms increase in
number and lengthen.
