Special Requirements and Information:
An easy to
maintain and great addition to your tank. While
encrusting Montiporas don't require a high light
source, the more light
available - the more color.
Feed anytime during the day. Once they're
accustomed to your tank, they can be introduced
to frozen foods such as chopped blood worms,
artemia or squid. Just remember that your coral
will only accept food that's small enough for
them to use. Consider feeding them directly with a turkey
baster directly into the bubble areas. Make sure
that you have other livestock in your tank to
clean up any excess.
While encrusting corals do not require expert
skills or a lot of attention, they do need good
water conditions and should not be placed in a
new tank.
