Special Requirements and Information:
Fascinating
and beautiful, clove polyps can extend and
contract their polyps throughout the day -
especially at feeding times. Avoid placing at
the bottom of your tank. They are filter
feeders, so avoid over skimming the water
column. For best results, use a turkey baster
for feeding.
Feed anytime during the day. Once they're
accustomed to your tank, they can be introduced
to frozen foods such as chopped blood worms,
artemia or squid as long as they're chopped into
small pieces. Clove Polyps will grow in
width and should be supplemented with iodine.
Semi-aggressive, so give appropriate distance
from your other corals.
