Special Requirements and Information:
Euphyllia are beautiful to watch when the polyps
are extended. Large colonies wave like a field
of grass, while smaller groups whip around in
the water column constantly in search of food.
Torches
are aggressive and will attack any other coral
that's within the reach of their tentacles.
Feed anytime during the day. They love
zooplankton as well as meaty foods. Once they're
accustomed to your tank, they can be introduced
to frozen foods such as chopped blood worms,
artemia or squid as long as they're chopped into
small pieces. The skeletal structure will grow in
width and should be supplemented with calcium,
strontium and iodine.
