Blastomussa
should be placed
medium to low in the tank. Bright light
can have a deleterious affect on your Blasto so
do not place it close to any high-output light
source.
Begin low in the tank until they become
acclimated and then you can move them. Since
they have nematocyst stinging cells, they can
attack other corals, so give them space. They
are also very sensitive to other polyp attacks
Feed anytime during the day. Once they're
accustomed to your tank, they can be introduced
to frozen foods such as chopped blood worms,
artemia or squid. Place the defrosted food
directly over the Blasto.
Blastomussa are colony formers, so don't be
surprised if new bodies form.
