Special Requirements and Information:
Get out your
Geiger Counter for this gorgeous Acro.
Lime Green and yellow branches
with neon yellow tentacles.
Sometimes called Staghorn Corals when they're
allowed to grow out, these Acros require the best
of water flow and lighting conditions. Initially
place them away from your light source
until they've acclimated and then move them to
where they can gather the most light available.
Feed anytime during the day. Once they're
accustomed to your tank, they can be introduced
to frozen foods such as chopped blood worms,
artemia or squid. Steady and regular feeding of
zooplankton will maintain great polyp health
which, of course, will be a major benefit the
coral. Supplement with strontium, calcium and
magnesium.
Can be aggressive towards their neighbors, so
give them sufficient room. If properly cared for
the arms increase in number and will extend
toward the light
