Special Requirements and Information:
Sometimes
called a "Lesser Knob Coral", this beauty has a
pink body with tangerine polyps and lime green
openings. Polyps open for feeding. These corals
do better in a tank where there is a constant
food source. If your tank has a high-end protein
skimmer you will increase the difficulty of
raising one of these.
Feeding should be light during the day with the
full feeding at night. Feed small marine foods.
Try and set a regular time for the full feed,
and place the food directly over the coral. Once they're accustomed
to your tank, they can be introduced to frozen
foods such as brine shrimp, chopped blood worms
squid.
