Special Requirements and Information:
Sponges
are filter feeders, so they will not do as well
in "extra clean" tanks, A high end protein
skimmer will eliminate a lot of the food that
they will need. Small phytoplankton are a great source
of nourishment, as well as, rotifers.
Feed anytime during the day.
Avoid contact with air, since the air can get
sucked in to the sponge, block of the feeding
system and kill them.
