Special Requirements and Information:
Hermit Crabs
are exceptional scavengers and should be an
essential part of any large reef system. While
they live on the substrate, and not the reef
itself, they will eat virtually anything that
doesn't move. They do prefer algae but will join
up with other crabs and snails to help keep the
tank clean and water ph manageable. Most
suppliers (including us) recommend Hermit Crabs
as part of their clean-up crews.
