Special Requirements and Information:
Everyone
loves the look of clams in an aquarium - but
beware! These are only for experts! You can get
by with a 75 gal. tank, but 100 gal. or more is
preferred. They don't really get around so the
food has to pass over them in order to eat.
Setting up a regular feeding schedule doesn't
matter to them but it will make sure that you
feed them regularly. When they go - they go,
don't expect to be able to save them. This is
one of the many reasons that experts only should
keep any of the Tridacnidae family.
