Special Requirements and Information:
Dendrophylliidae of all kinds are beautiful but
sometimes difficult to keep. The Sun Polyps do
not require lighting and therefore need places
to hide from intense light. Keep them under a
ledge if possible.
Feed anytime during the day. They love
zooplankton as well as meaty foods. Once they're
accustomed to your tank, they can be introduced
to frozen foods such as chopped blood worms,
artemia or squid as long as they're chopped into
small pieces. Using a turkey baster helps get
the food to the animals.
The skeletal structure will grow in
width and should be supplemented with calcium,
strontium and iodine.
