Special Requirements and Information:
There's just
something inherently masculine about the
samoensis. The polyps are offset between each
group and rounded. When you're very lucky you
can a color combo like this.
At the bottom left of this
photo you can see opened polyps. Growth is both
lengthening of the branches and new growth on
the outer areas.
Acropora should be placed
high in the tank. Close to the light source,
but not so close to be affected by the heat.
Feeding should be light during the day with the
full feeding at night. Once they're accustomed
to your tank, they can be introduced to frozen
foods such as chopped blood worms.
They can be aggressive towards their neighbors
and should be given plenty of room.
